Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Urban

The University Red Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Urban Blues at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

University's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against San Domenico as University made off with a 3-0 win. The Red Devils' winning goal came courtesy of Maya Spero.

University was without their leading scorer, Ofeibea Dah, in Wednesday's matchup. With Dah sitting this one out, Saya Tarm got some extra time on the pitch (42 vs. her season average of 21.1).

Meanwhile, Urban won against Convent of the Sacred Heart on Wednesday with six goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Urban blew past San Domenico 6-0. The Blues might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six goals or more this season.

Urban is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those seven matches. As for University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7-2.

University came up short against Urban when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 6-4. Can University avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
