Basketball Recap: Elkmont Victorious

Elkmont won the last time they faced Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, and Makayla Nowlin did her part to make sure it happened again. The Elkmont Red Devils claimed a resounding 79-7 win over the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels thanks in part to Nowlin, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Elkmont's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Elkmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-40 loss against Clements on the 17th. Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering has also already played their next matchup, a 43-13 defeat against Asbury on the 23rd.
