Softball Recap: Roma Takes a Loss

Roma lost against Rio Grande City back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gladiators fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 4-3. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madelyn Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Roma's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Rio Grande City, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Roma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rio Grande City, they have already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against Hebbronville on the 21st.
