Softball Recap: Mclean County Starts Season with Loss on the Road

McLean County kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 8-0 to the Trinity Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLean County will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Hancock County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will face off against Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
