Kerens is a perfect 8-0 against Cross Roads since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. Kerens is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kerens faced off against Scurry-Rosser last Friday. The Bobcats strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 33-14.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cross Roads, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They had just enough and edged out Gateway Charter Academy 21-18.

Kerens' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cross Roads, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Kerens against Cross Roads in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 40-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kerens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
