Football Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders. The Saints lost against the Red Raiders in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-18 score last time.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun County will welcome Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they will square off against Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
