Football Recap: Dj Graber Leads Tri-State Crusaders' Defense on Saturday

Tri-State Crusaders won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Saturday too. The King's Crusaders blew past Varsity Opponent 46-22. Considering the King's Crusaders have won six games by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kylen Zimmerman was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 189 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tri-State Crusaders' defense and their 4.5 sacks. Leading the way was Dj Graber with 3.5.

The victory made it two in a row for Tri-State Crusaders and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next matchup, a 50-0 win against Meridian HomeSchool on the 11th. Hopefully Tri-State Crusaders paid attention to Varsity Opponent's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
