Volleyball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Huntington North Vikings. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Vikings when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bluffton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Huntington North work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-20, 25-21.

Khloe Gehrett paced Bluffton's offense, picking up seven kills. Gehrett got some help from Kamryn Ault and her 11 assists. Konley Ault controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Huntington North, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Bluffton will square off against Pioneer on Saturday. As for Huntington North, they will challenge Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
