After losing to Simsbury the last time they met, New Britain decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Wednesday.

New Britain not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Simsbury to exactly 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Werner Lynes paced New Britain's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lynes got some help from Gabriel Pedzich and his 29 assists. Lynes also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jovan Villegas, racking up two apiece.

New Britain pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Simsbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

New Britain will take on Newington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Simsbury, they will challenge Conard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Wolves will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
