Softball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner lost to Lone Star back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 4-3.

Jamisen Graves made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Turner now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lone Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Turner and Lone Star could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Turner will face off against Reedy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (727 vs. 99). Meanwhile, Lone Star (ranked 265th) will meet Wakeland (ranked 95th) at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
