Bre Gerard put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Wednesday. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.

Looking ahead, Gerard and Colleton County will head out to take on May River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Gerard's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cougars' seven-game streak of wins on the road.
