Softball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Comes Up Short

NCSSM: Durham blew Voyager Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Voyager Academy got their revenge. The Unicorns fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 11-9. The Unicorns' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Voyager Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, NCSSM: Durham will take on East Wake Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Voyager Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Unicorns' game: after the Unicorns face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Voyager Academy again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
