Basketball Recap: Anderson Christian Takes a Loss

Anderson Christian lost against Temple Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Anderson Christian Lions took a hard 64-46 fall against the Temple Christian Academy Warriors. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 13-9 in the first quarter.

Temple Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Hall, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The game was Hall's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Sosebee, who went 7 of 12 en route to 16 points.

Anderson Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Temple Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Anderson Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Westgate Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson Christian is facing Westgate Christian at the right time seeing as Westgate Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will take on Greenville Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
