If Columbus East wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Silver Creek, they should've done a better job of containing Henri Kutschera. The Dragons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Olympians on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2 for which the team can thank Kutschera, who had ten digs and three assists. He also served an ace, marking his first of the season.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Silver Creek who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13.

Silver Creek's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Columbus East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Silver Creek will take on Scottsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus East, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Columbus North on the 2nd.
