Paul Laurence Dunbar was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bluegrass United on Saturday. Paul Laurence Dunbar's pitcher stepped up to hand Bluegrass United a 10-0 shutout. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Case Williams looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Max Elias, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season. Jack Sheets was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases.
