Football Recap: Cape Coral Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cape Coral's offense. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Riverdale Raiders. The Seahawks just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.

Cape Coral's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Riverdale, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cape Coral wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 27-0 loss against Mariner on the 7th. As for Riverdale, they will head out to challenge North Fort Myers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
