Volleyball Recap: Miller Beats Wolsey-Wessington for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Miller came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rustlers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

In the three sets Miller was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 18-25, 25-11.

Paige Werdel paced Miller's offense, picking up 13 kills. Werdel got some help from Gracen Werdel and her 44 assists. Finally, Kate Lichty kept Miller's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Miller's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Wolsey-Wessington, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-5.

Looking ahead, Miller will host Ethan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wolsey-Wessington has already played their next contest (against Sunshine Bible Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
