Basketball Preview: Horeb Christian Mustangs vs. Marathon Dolphins        
        
		
             The Horeb Christian Mustangs are taking a road trip to  square off against the Marathon Dolphins  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Horeb Christian will be strutting in after a  win while Marathon will be coming in after a  defeat.
 While Mustangs fans will have to keep waiting for their  team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's  season opener. They blew past Scheck Hillel Community School 56-34 on Wednesday. The score was close at the half, but the Mustangs pulled away in the second half with 35  points.
 Horeb Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jeremiah Wilson, who  posted 17 points. Wilson's evening made it five games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Ifeanyi Ezeala was another key player,  earning 16 points.
 Meanwhile,  a  win for Marathon just wasn't in the cards  on Thursday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost  63-43 to David Posnack Jewish Day. The Dolphins haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Things could have been worse for Horeb Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  70-53 loss to Marathon in their previous meeting  back in January. Thankfully for Horeb Christian,  YANIEL GARCIA (who  went 9 for 16 en route to 19 points plus seven  rebounds and three  steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
