Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Comes Up Short

If Northwest Cabarrus was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Cabarrus on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Mount Pleasant Tigers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mount Pleasant, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Northwest Cabarrus will challenge North Rowan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will welcome Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
