Softball Recap: Sabine Pass Takes a Loss

Sabine Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the West Hardin Oilers, falling 19-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Sabine Pass' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for West Hardin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Oilers beat Sabine Pass by a score of 19-0 later that day.
