It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pinecrest Glades Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Westwood Christian Warriors with a sharp 26-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won six matches by 20 points or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Pinecrest Glades Academy, bringing their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for Westwood Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Pinecrest Glades Academy will square off against True North Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Dragons 3.4, the Titans 9.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Westwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
