Softball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo couldn't beat Palmyra-Macedon on Thursday even though they stacked nine runs on them in the seventh inning. The Tigers fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 13-12. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-16 on Tuesday.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Palmyra-Macedon, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Waterloo will challenge Naples at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Palmyra-Macedon, they will face off against Aquinas Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
