After a string of eight wins, Lincoln-Way West's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stagg Chargers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 28-8. As for Stagg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-27 record this season.

Lincoln-Way West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stagg, they will be taking part in a tournament against Providence Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
