Colonial Christian extends home losing streak to eight

Recap: Colonial Christian Patriots vs. Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons
The Colonial Christian Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 80-65 to Pinecrest Glades Academy. Colonial Christian has not had much luck with Pinecrest Glades Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Pinecrest Glades Academy was led to victory by Ronnie Rivero and Keith Hernandez. Rivero scored 19 points, while Hernandez dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Hernandez also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Lovaglio, who scored 12 points.
Colonial Christian's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Pinecrest Glades Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colonial Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cushman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pinecrest Glades Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against BridgePrep Village Green at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
