Baseball Recap: Broughton Comes Up Short

Broughton came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the J.H. Rose Rampants. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Capitals have suffered since April 8, 2025.

Broughton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for J.H. Rose, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Broughton will face off against Garner at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for J.H. Rose, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clayton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
