League recap: Cleveland climbs in state rankings

Cleveland moved up to 202 from 230 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Metro - Sound. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating West Seattle 26-0.

Hale was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in the league. The Raiders vanquished Rainier Beach 53-7 earlier in the week.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Cleveland's Amont? Phillips and Dale Daniels have proven to be a lethal combination. Phillips has thrown for 370 yards this season, while Daniels has 12 catches for 224 yards. Emmery Porter from Ingraham leads the league in rushing with 236 yards.

The top two teams in 3A Metro - Sound will face off this week when first place Cleveland takes on second place Hale.
