Volleyball Recap: Meade River Takes a Loss

Meade River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nunamiut Amaguq. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Meade River may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.

Meade River's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nunamiut, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Meade River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Kali on the 11th. As for Nunamiut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Nuiqsut Trapper on the 11th.
