East and Oxford are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East has three straight wins, Oxford has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

East is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Downingtown West on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly seven runs.

Meanwhile, Oxford came up short against Coatesville on Thursday and fell 7-3.

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for East, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

East came out on top in a nail-biter against Oxford in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
