Soccer Recap: Carson Starts off Right with Win over Torres

Carson had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Torres Toros by a score of 3-1. This was payback for Carson, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

They hit Torres with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dustin Romo, Daniel Ramirez, and Marco Cruz.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Carson will head out to square off against Legacy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Torres, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
