Baseball Game Preview: Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers vs. Addison Knights

Canisteo-Greenwood hasn't had much luck against Addison recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Chargers will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Canisteo-Greenwood got the win against Cuba-Rushford by a conclusive 11-2. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Addison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Alfred-Almond by a score of 10-7 on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Canisteo-Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Addison, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
