Basketball Game Preview: Dryden Cardinals vs. All Saints Central Cougars

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals duke it out with the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dryden came up short against Sandusky on Friday, falling 53-29. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Wolves are ranked 108th).

Meanwhile, All Saints Central entered their tilt with Whittemore-Prescott on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 37-21 victory over the Cardinals.

Dryden has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. All Saints Central's win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Dryden lost to All Saints Central on the road by a decisive 60-42 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Dryden avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
