Basketball Recap: Pateros Takes a Loss

If Pateros was feeling good fresh off their 62-18 takedown of Wilson Creek last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pateros Billygoats/Nannies fell 49-41 to the Waterville Shockers on Thursday. The Billygoats/Nannies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Shockers earlier this season, when they won 41-37.

Pateros' defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Waterville, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Looking ahead, Pateros will square off against Soap Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Waterville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
