Soccer Recap: Carolina Friends Comes Up Short

Carolina Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against The Burlington School, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Carolina Friends can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 404th, while The Burlington School are ranked 175th).

Carolina Friends' loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for The Burlington School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Carolina Friends does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Burlington School, they will face off against Burlington Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
