Recap: Galt vs. Union Mine
Galt faced off against Union Mine for the first time this season, and Galt walked away the winners. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Union Mine on Friday and snuck past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Galt sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Christian Gomez and
Miguel Garcia, who scored.
Galt's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 5.8 goals per game. As for Union Mine, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Galt will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Union Mine at 6:30 p.m. Union Mine's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for they, they will head out on the road to face off against Galt at 6:30 p.m.
