While Lexington didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Madison Comprehensive Rams 7-1 on Wednesday. The Minutemen haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Madison Comprehensive, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lexington will take on Johnstown-Monroe at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison Comprehensive, they will challenge New Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Quakers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
