Recap: Prairie Lea Indians vs. Luling Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Prairie Lea Indians, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They were dealt a 83-34 defeat at the hands of Luling on Thursday. Prairie Lea was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.
Luling can attribute much of their success to Ricardo Romero, who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Samuelson, who scored 14 points.
Prairie Lea bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Luling, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Comfort the next time they take the court. Prairie Lea will head out to face Comfort at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Luling will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
