Soccer Recap: Battlefield Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Mountain View

Battlefield extended their postseason success on Monday against Mountain View. They beat the Wildcats by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Battlefield's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Mountain View are ranked tenth).

The win made it two in a row for Battlefield and bumps their season record up to 13-4-1. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-3-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Battlefield nor Mountain View have any future games scheduled.
