Cabool had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Ava Bears by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cabool was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Sophia Dotson paced Cabool's offense, picking up eight kills. Dotson got some help from Cambree Woodard and her 15 assists. Dotson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Cabool's win bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Ava, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2.

Cabool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Seymour on the 20th. As for Ava, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Bunker on the 20th.
