The Goochland Bulldogs suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 47-13 loss at the hands of Monticello. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Goochland in their matchups with Monticello: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Dylan Wood, who scored 11 points along with six assists and two steals for Monticello. Another player making a difference was Marisa Dyer, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Goochland dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Monticello, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
