Beecher proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Rockford Auburn Knights. The win was familiar territory for Beecher, who have now won three games in a row.

Wences Baumgartner and Pablo Avila scored all three of Beecher's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Beecher's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Beecher will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Romeoville at 9:00 a.m. As for Rockford Auburn, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Hononegah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Rockford Auburn's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
