Softball Recap: Ferguson Falcons vs. South Dade Buccaneers
With a playoff game on the line, Ferguson rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the South Dade Buccaneers as they made off with a 19-4 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Ferguson as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Andreaneliz Rivera was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with a home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Bianca Lugaro was another key contributor, going 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Ferguson's win bumped their record up to 6-15-1. As for South Dade, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
