East Wake has gone 9-1 against Smithfield-Selma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans  at 4:00  p.m. The timing is sure in East Wake's favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while Smithfield-Selma has been banged up by 18 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
East Wake barely beat Fike the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp  17-4 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Madison Keith was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Keith was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with four  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Alissa Flood was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  triples. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.  Jaimee Fowler was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 East Wake  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Meanwhile, Smithfield-Selma came up short against  C.B. Aycock on Tuesday, falling  26-2.
 East Wake's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Smithfield-Selma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.
 Everything went East Wake's way against Smithfield-Selma in their previous meeting  back in March, as East Wake made off with  a  29-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success,  or do  the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
