Baseball Game Preview: Hendersonville Commandos vs. Franklin Admirals

The Hendersonville Commandos will face off against the Franklin Admirals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hendersonville's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Franklin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Hendersonville came up short against White House-Heritage and fell 5-2.

Houston Bogle was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Franklin came into Wednesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Nolensville get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Admirals have beaten the Knights on their field since March 23, 2022.

Not much got past Davis Williams, who gave up just a hit to keep Nolensville off the board. Williams also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Franklin is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-20 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Henry Hammet, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Jaylen Spring was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Hendersonville, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.
