Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Creek vs. Pflugerville

The Cedar Creek Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Pflugerville Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Creek will be strutting in after a win while Pflugerville will be coming in after a loss.

Cedar Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Hendrickson 4-1 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Pflugerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Leander.

Pflugerville now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Cedar Creek, they moved to 1-7-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Cedar Creek beat Pflugerville by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cedar Creek since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
