Volleyball Recap: Howland Takes a Loss

Howland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Wesley Fee paced Howland's offense, picking up seven kills. Fee got some help from Alex Slater and his ten assists.

The win got Villa Angela-St. Joseph back to even at 1-1.

Howland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Mayfield on the 15th. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
