Basketball Recap: Stuart Comes Up Short

Stuart lost against Caney back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stuart Hornets took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caney Cougars. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stuart's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Caney, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Stuart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caney, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-26 defeat against Stringtown on the 15th.
