Volleyball Recap: Sutton Takes a Loss

Sutton lost against Bishop Neumann back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers.

Sutton's offense was headlined by Kamryn Steinhauer and Katie Baldwin, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Smith and her seven assists.

Leading Bishop Neumann to victory were Madison Wiese and Lily Woita. Wiese had ten digs and three assists, while Woita had eight digs.

Sutton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bishop Neumann, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Sutton will be playing at home against Sandy Creek on Tuesday. As for Bishop Neumann, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lakeview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
