Softball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

The Shelton Highclimbers came up short against the Aberdeen Bobcats on Wednesday and fell 8-5.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Aberdeen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shelton is set to take on their familiar foe Tumwater at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aberdeen will challenge rival WF West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bobcats 4, the Bearcats 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
