Baseball Game Preview: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons

The Carlisle Thundering Herd will venture away from home to face off against the Lower Dauphin Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Carlisle is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Northern York on Saturday. They fell 4-0 to the Polar Bears. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Carlisle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradyn Sober, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin came up short against Palmyra on Thursday and fell 8-5.

Carlisle's record now sits at 1-7. As for Lower Dauphin, their record is now 4-2.

Carlisle skirted past Lower Dauphin 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Thundering Herd have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
