Recap: Moore County Raiders vs. Houston County Fighting Irish
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Moore County Raiders walked away with it. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over Houston County. The win was just business as usual for Moore County, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Dawson White was his usual excellent self, throwing for 264 yards and five touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Logan Hegwood was another key contributor, gaining 97 total yards and a touchdown.
Moore County's victory was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 11-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Houston County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Moore County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eagleville at 7:00 p.m. Eagleville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Houston County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
